How to Shave a Callus with a Razor and Remove it for Good

How can I remove a Callus with a Razor?

Here is a simple and effective way of removing a callus with a razor and it shouldn’t hurt, nor should it lead to an infection, which can occur with more invasive methods.

Firstly purchase a new disposable multi-bladed razor, if you do not already own one. You can buy a bunch of disposable razors for just a few dollars.

The reason I say they should be new is to avoid any infection that can result from a used razor. Also a disposable razor should be sharp enough to ‘shave’ away the callus while at the same time sensitive enough not to cause pain.

This method is effective because it can be used to remove a callus on any part of the body and you have complete control over how much or little of the callus you remove.

1. Use rapid, short strokes over the callus shaving away the outer surface area of skin.
2. Continue shaving until you have removed as much of the callus as you feel is safe without causing pain or bleeding.
3. Apply soap and watter to the callus to ensure the area is clean and moist
4. Dry the area and then apply hand cream to further soften and smooth the area

For best results I recommend a special kit for removing a callus. You can purchase one for a few dollars. I recommend the E-Z Callus Peel Foot Callus Remover Kit

How to Remove a Plantar Callus on the Bottom of the Foot

How can I prevent and treat a plantar callus on the bottom of my foot?

What is a Plantar Callus

plantar callusA plantar callus on the bottom of the foot or the ball of the foot is a painful thickened and hardened area of skin occurring between your heel and your toes. They can be painful and make activities such as walking difficult or uncomfortable. The skin forming on the callus can be yellowish or greyish in appearance and be hard, dry and flaky.

A callus is formed as a result of too much pressure being placed on one area of the foot leading to an abnormal weight distribution. The foot creates a hardened piece of skin as a defence mechanism. This hardened piece of skin is called a plantar callus.

Possible Causes of a Plantar Callus

Plantar calluses are caused by repeated friction or pressure on that area. Possible causes can include bone deformities, poorly fitting shoes or socks that don’t distribute your weight evenly.

Medical conditions can also cause plantar calluses. These include:

  • Bunions
  • Flat feet
  • Hallux valgus of the big toe
  • Poorly fitted shoes or socks
  • Excessive walking or running
  • Previous fracture of the foot leading to an abnormal weight distribution

How to Prevent a Plantar Callus

You can prevent a plantar callus by ensuring you distribute the weight more evenly by wearing softer shoes with a cushioned interior.

You could also cushion your foot with a soft, comfortable foam. I have found Dr. Scholl’s Round Callus Cushions to be excellent at preventing a callus or preventing one from getting worse. They ease painful shoe pressure and friction and provide a self-stick adhesive that fits comfortably around your foot cushioning it from pressure.

Other preventative measures can include:

  • special rehydration creams for thickened skin
  • customised soft padding or foam insoles

Plantar callus treatment

Treatment may include a podiatrist cutting away some of the thickened skin using a scalpel to relieve pressure on the tissue underneath. You should not try and cut the callus yourself as it can become infected and more sore. If you must try to remove the foot callus yourself you should purchase a special kit such as the E-Z Callus Peel Foot Callus Remover Kit which has very positive reviews.

Other treatment can include applying salicylic acid to the callus to help soften the dead skin. This can be applied using a patch or applied topically. These patches or creams need to be reapplied daily after removing dead skin using a pumice stone or nail file.

If the bone structure is causing the problem a doctor may need to realign the bones in the feet.

Other Treatments can include:

  • Special rehydration creams for thickened skin
  • Silicone wedges that redistribute pressure
  • Customized soft padding or foam insoles

No Red face Formula Review – is it a Scam?

Is the no red face formula a scam and does it work?

No, red face formula is not a scam for the simple fact that you have a 60 day money back guarantee which is honored by the vendor clickbank.

The company that sells the no red face formula product does not even handle the payments and refunds. This is handled by clickbank – an independent third party payment processor.

Another reason to believe they’re not a scam is the fact that they’ve been in business since 2006 according to whois records which can be found by doing a simple whois search.

The following information you’re looking for is when the website date was created and it’s expiration date. The older the website is, the better. The further away the expiration date the longer they are likely to be in business

No red face formula review

It should be noted that the company does not make far fetched claims that they claim to cure your Asian flush, just that their product helps reduce the flushing response to more manageable levels. Also that their formula helps reduce other symptoms of Asian flush such as the nausea and dizziness while providing the liver with anti-oxidants.

The first thing that I noticed is that they don’t claim to ‘cure’ your Asian flush. In fact, they emphatically state that their product is not a cure, instead that it helps to reduce the flushing response to more manageable levels. Not only that, they claim to reduce other symptoms of Asian flush such as nausea and dizziness while also assisting the health of the liver with a range of powerful anti-oxidants.

Perhaps more importantly they claim that their formula has been clinically proven to reduce acetaldehyde levels and in turn protect sufferers from some of the cancer risks associated with alcohol consumption.

According to reviews online the no red face formula does help. However I wouldn’t take these reviews too seriously as they may have been written by affiliates who earn commission as clickbank members for selling their product.

The only way of finding out whether no red face formula works is by trying the product yourself. If you do please provide a review in the comment section below. I would be interested in getting your feedback.

Super Fast Acting Laxative Bowel Stimulator

What is the fastest acting laxative you can buy?

According to MedHelp the fastest active laxative is the drug bisacodyl when administered as a rectal suppository.

The over-the-counter version is Dulocolax. You can purchase Dulocolax in tablet form. However for a super fast acting laxative that will work in minutes, not hours you should try Dulcolax as a suppository. You do not require a prescription or doctor to adminster Dulcolax. You can purchase Dulcolax and administer them youself.

For an even more effective laxative I’ve discovered that combining Dulocolax with Docusate sodium works best.

Dulcolax (a stimulant laxative) works really well with Docusate sodium (a non-stimulant stool softener). Dulcolax as a suppository is fast acting whereas Docusate sodium provides a more delayed release.

How to Make Chrome Full Screen Plus Video with Just One Click

How do I force Chrome into Full Screen with a click of the Mouse?

To go to full screen you Press F11 on your keyboard. However, there are occasions when you can’t press F11 or want a quicker method.

For example if you have a minimal keyboard and don’t have the F11 key option, or you’re sick of the “immersive mode” on the Chromebook and need more screen space, or maybe you just want a quicker method of going full screen that doesn’t involve fumbling for the F11 key in the dark.

There’s a Google extension that makes this as simple as clicking an icon at the top of the screen with your mouse.

Not only will it allow full screen mode, there’s an option to automatically bring the video to Full Screen when you click the play button.

The extension is called Full Screen and was created by Stefan Van Damme who’s responsible for some great extensions. If you like the plugin please help him continue creating more extensions by offering a small donation at his website.

Just visit this link to download the extension. Once you’ve downloaded the extension you’ll have a small icon at the top of the screen. Just click the icon to go full screen and press Esc to exit full screen in Chrome.

If you go to the Full Screen menu extensions options there’s also an option to enable videos to be played at full screen when you click the play button.
