Honey App Browser Extension 2019 Review

What is the Honey App and is it Safe?

Here’s my honest review of Honey App based on my own experience, and those of others and includes any problems or security concerns people have brought up.

If you want to leave your own review please do so in the comments. If you have had any problems with the app please be as specific as you can.

What is the Honey App?

Honey App is a browser extension created by Ryan Hudson along with co-founder George Ruan. Hudson got the idea while trying to find a coupon for a pizza. That night, after his kids went to bed, he put together a prototype for a browser extension that could help solve his problem, and in October 2012, the MIT-trained entrepreneur, along with co-founder George Ruan, used that prototype to build and launch the browser extension that automatically finds coupons when shopping online.

If you shop online regularly like me and you’re on the constant lookout for deals and promo codes you’ve probably become frustrated by how long it takes to hunt down a great deal or coupon code.

This is where apps like Honey app come in. The free browser extension automatically finds and applies coupon codes for over 30,000 shopping sites during checkout looking for the best deals and promo codes.

With the Honey app, you’ll find bargains with just one click. Honey will go to work automatically testing coupon codes from around the web, applying the best coupon within seconds.

Safety Concerns or Problems with Honey App

While most people have had positive experiences with the app, even stating that it’s the best download ever, some people have expressed problems and concerns with security.

Some have commented that Honey App collects sensitive information including credit card details. However, I could not find any evidence for this and in fact it’s stated on their site that they do not collect any information from your email, bank, or credit card accounts. It’s unlikely that an app so widely used would jeopardise trust by storing sensitive personal information it doesn’t need. The company explicitly says on its site that data is never sold to third-parties, and the company has an extensive privacy policy.

The main problems that people have with the app is that they were unable to use existing coupons they had found elsewhere. However, it’s possible that these coupons were invalid or out of date. Others have said there aren’t so many offers in non-US stores unlike other similar services.

Honey App Features

Honey Droplist
Honey has a great tool called Droplist, which is a price notification tool. Honey will watch items from retailers that include Amazon, Walmart, Target and Macy’s. If you use Amazon, anything you add to your Amazon wish list will be automatically added to the Droplist. As soon as there’s a lower price available you will receive a notification. Alternatively, you can set a price yourself so that when the price falls below that threshold you will be notified instantly.

Honey Price Tracker
You can check the price history of an item by clicking “Price History”. This will show you how the price has varied over the last 30 days, 60 days or 120 days. If the price varies often this can be a good indicator that the price is likely to drop in the future giving you a better deal if you just wait.

Honey Price Checker

The Honey Price Tracker will tell you when the price last changed, provide a graph of the price changes over time, alert you to lower prices from non-Amazon sellers and offer to swap a product in your cart for its lower-priced counterpart.

Honey Gold
With Honey Gold you can earn a percentage of the money you spend at any of the 4,000+ sites. The reward you receive is calculated randomly and varies from site to site.

Once you accumulate 1000 Gold, U.S. Members can redeem Honey Gold for a $10 gift card at the following stores:

Mobile Honey App

The Honey Smart Shopping Assistant is now available for pre-release at the Apple App Store. You can pre-order our free app now. It will be available in February 2019. Search for Honey in the App Store and you’ll find us or download the app directly from the App Store.

Honey App Pros

  • The Honey app is 100% free to install and use
  • The Honey app is easy to install and use and you can start using it almost straight away.
  • The Honey app will save you hours of time searching for non-expired discount codes and it does all of this automatically every time you visit a store.
  • If you regularly shop online the Honey App will save you a ton of money on a wide variety of products and services.
  • The app is regularly updated with new discounts on many online shopping and travel sites so you know you’re getting the best deal.

Honey App Cons

  • Quite a few users of Honey App have said that customer service can be poor, but it is a free service after all.
  • Honey Travel appears to go through a separate company who is known to bait and switch. They will not fully refund your money.
  • Some have claimed that Honey doesn’t always use existing voucher codes they’ve entered before, but this problem seems to originate mainly from non-US users.
  • Some have said there aren’t so many offers in non-US stores unlike other similar services.
  • Some of the discounts offered have already expired and are therefore unavailable.
  • There are reports that the app on chrome can crash sometimes or be difficult to work with, however I have not had problems with the extension myself.

Tips for Using Honey App

  • Make sure to disable ad-blocking programs or extensions that could interfere with the Honey extension while shopping. You can re-activate the extension once you’ve completed your purchase.
  • Make sure you whitelist Honey if you use an adblocker as it may prevent it from working properly.
  • When shopping on Amazing make sure to look for a badge next to the price before you add the product to your cart as this will tell you whether or not you’re seeing the best possible deal.
  • You can submit coupons to Honey by adding your discount code to the “share a code” box within the Honey extension if you already have your own discount coupon.
  • Don’t forget to use Droplist and get notified when a deal becomes available on Amazon.
  • Don’t forget to use Honey travel as it will save you significant amounts of money by providing travel deals and vouchers for hotels and flights.
  • Some from the UK have said that using the app in the UK to find European car parts can result in significant savings.

Alternatives to Honey App

Quidco is for UK customers and enables users to receive cash back on purchases either by check or through PayPal. You can also register a debit card on the site in order to receive cash back from in-store purchases.

Camelcamelcamel is a price checking tool which enables Amazon customers to make sure they’re getting the best deal possible. It’s free to join and gives members the benefit of notifications of price drops and comparison for Amazon products.

The Camelizer is an extension to CamelCamelCamel and enables users to view price history charts and product pages without having to navigate away from the retailer’s site. It supports a number of browsers and is available in the USA, UK, Japan, Canada, Italy and Spain.

ebates.com offers up to 40% Cash back at over 2,500 stores. Stores pay EBates a commission for sending you their way, and Ebates shares the commission with you as cashback. You need to register through Ebates and shop through the site. Unfortunately Ebates is only available through the US.

Cashbackbase.com is a community to help you get the latest deals on Amazon.com and help you find big deals. It’s free to sign up and offers deals on a large number of products which include household goods, tech and clothing. You purchase the item from Amazon and then submit your order to Cashbackbase via your account in order to have the discount refunded to your account

Conclusion

To summarize while some users have experienced some problems or technical difficulties with the Honey browser, it can still save you hundreds of dollars if you shop online regularly by finding you the best deals automatically. It will do this by notifying you when the price drops, track changes in price, alert you when there’s a better deal from another Amazon seller, alert you when a coupon code is available, automatically apply coupons to items in your shopping cart and allow you to accrue HoneyGold points which you can then be redeemed for gift cards. The best part of this is that all of this is free.

Dealdash Review 2018 & Tips for Winning an Auction

Is DealDash Legit and What are Some Tips for Winning an Auction?”

In the following article I provide a review of DealDash, whether it’s a scam, the pros and cons of using DealDash and also some tips on how to maximize wins.

What is DealDash

DealDash is a Penny Auction website where you bid a set amount each time with the hope of being the last bidder and winning the auction. DealDash is one of the oldest running penny auction sites and was founded in 2009, by William Wolfram and has over 4 million registered users on their site. It has a wide variety of everyday items and in a full range of values from $10 to $14,000 and every price in between.

DealDash is very different to online auction sites like eBay where you only pay if you win the auction. With DealDash and other online penny sites – also known as Bidding Fee Auctions – you pay out money for each bid, even if you don’t win.

All auctions start out at nothing and every time a bid is placed the item will increase by a cent. The timer is then reset every time someone places a new bid. This can go on for many hours. When there are no more bids placed the last individual to place a bid wins the auction.

Is DealDash a Scam and How Does it Work?

Well sort of… However, it’s not an illegal scam because there’s no fraud involved. It’s more a scam in the sense that people have unrealistic expectations and don’t understand that in order for DealDash to make money, the average bidder has to spend more overall then it would cost them to purchase the product at retail price.

Whereas eBay is more of an auction, DealDash functions more like a lottery. While some skill is involved, it relies more on persistence and luck. This is because there’s no guarantee you will win. Also because it’s more like gambling than an actual auction it can be addictive, and you can end up losing a lot of money in the process.

Before bidding you have to purchase a Bid pack. DealDash operates as a pay to play model so before you can take part in an auction you need to buy bids. As soon as you have bids in your account you can start bidding.

Bid packs come in various sizes, such as 200 bids. Each time you place a bid, one bid is removed from your bid balance. When you run out of bids, you can either buy more bids, or use the “Buy it Now” option to get your bids back from an auction!

To get more bids and bid on the items up for auction you first have to purchase them. The bids that you purchase are priced between $0.12 and $0.60 each.

Although you spend 12 to 60 cents for each auction bid, the auction price of the item you’re trying to win only goes up by 1 cent. This means you will pay less for the item than you would otherwise pay if you purchased the same product at retail price.

However, this also means the amount you spend on trying to win the auction is often more than the final price of the product, assuming you even win the auction.

So let’s say you’re bidding on a product worth $100…

other people are going to be bidding on that same product until the item reaches say $10 and someone wins it. For example, lets say each bid costs $0.60. This will result in DealDash receiving 1,000 x 0.60 = $600 over the lifetime of that auction. That is $600 plus the $10 of the person that won the auction.

When the item falls below 10 seconds if anyone bids during that time period the timer will get reset back up to 10 seconds. It just goes on and on until the last person that bids is the one that wins. There’s often a lot of time and persistence you have to put in before you have a chance of winning an auction and there’s no guarantee you will win.

The auctions can run for hours and even days if they’re expensive products like a car. In that time, if you are bidding for an expensive product you will rack up several hundred, even thousands of dollars and that doesn’t even include the final auction price for the product.

Once you’ve won the auction just follow the simple checkout process by giving your shipping info and paying the winning bid amount. The item will be processed and shipped within a couple of days.

If you didn’t win you can still purchase the item with the “Buy it Now” feature. By clicking the “Buy it Now” feature they subtract the value of the bids you placed from the value price of the item, leaving only the difference to pay.

DealDash makes more money than they lose from the products they buy and sell on their auction. This is why I consider penny auction sites a scam. However it’s a clever scam because it isn’t obvious.

The following provides both the Pros and Cons of DealDash but also of Penny Auctions in general:

The Pros

Buy it Now: If you don’t win an auction you can use the “Buy it Now” feature. By clicking the “Buy it Now” feature you can get back all the bid credits you spent.

Bidbuddy: Unlike other penny auction sites that force you to sit around and wait for the bidding to end, DealDash offers Bidbuddy. You can specify the amount of bids you want bid buddy to place for you as well as the maximum bid price and Bidbuddy will do the rest.

Customer Service: The Customer service is great and reviews from others show that DealDash provides quick responses to questions, they’re professional and willing to fix any problems you may be having.

Locked Auction: It’s a way of limiting competition for a particular auction. After a certain amount of time has passed bidders are locked out and are unable to participate in the auction. However those who are left in can continue to participate in the auction. This keeps the auctions fair because the people who invest the time and money will be the ones most likely to win.

Quality products: The products won through DealDash are quality brand name products, not cheap used or refurbished products as far as I can tell.

Free Shipping: There’s Free shipping on all products and there are no hidden costs.

Free bids: You can earn Free bids by purchasing their products directly from the DealDash store

The Cons

Incremental bidding: You can end up spending far more money then you plan because of the incremental bidding which costs between $0.12 and $0.60 for each bid. You should keep track of how much you’ve lost after each auction ends.

Bidders Lose on Average: DealDash has to make more money than it loses from buying and selling products. They make more money because of the incremental bidding and the fact that only one person can win any given auction, while DealDash profits from the bids spent by all of the losing participants. Consumer Reports noted that DealDash’s own terms of service tell users that they are likely to spend more than the retail cost for products and are unlikely to save money using the site.

High Buying Price: According to Consumer Reports, the “buy it now” prices can be significantly higher than the same products on Amazon.com

Difficulty: People often don’t realize how many people they’re bidding against and how much more experienced these bidders are. They will assume an auction is easier to win then it actually is.

Time Wasted: You can waste a lot of time watching and bidding on items as expensive auctions can run for hours, even days. However, unlike many penny auction sites, they offer a tool called Bidbuddy which does save you a lot of time by bidding automatically.

Pay if you don’t Win: In a normal auction if you don’t win the auction you don’t spend a dime. However, in penny auctions like DealDash you’ll still pay for the bids you’ve spent on an auction even if you don’t win.

Tips for Winning a DealDash Auction

Start Small: If you’re starting out make sure you start small and bid on items that are low cost. This way there is less risk to you.

Buy one bid pack: When you join, just buy one bid pack (this way, you’re guaranteed your money back if you don’t win.

Beginners Only: It’s very easy to win “Beginners only” auctions as they’re only for people starting out who haven’t won more than 3 items. These won’t be high priced, highly sort after products but at least it will give you some confidence and give you a feel for how it works.

Place One bid Early On: DealDash has a “no jumpers” rule which prevents people from jumping into an auction after the price has hit $5. It’s a way of limiting competition for a particular auction. This keeps the auctions fair because the people who invest the time and money will be the ones most likely to win. However, if you place just one bid early on, you can jump back into the auction after the price has hit $5 and preferably when most bidders have exhausted their bids. At that point, the auction is closed to new bidders, which narrows the playing field a bit.

One Second Rule: When bidding on an item try and find out how many people are currently bidding on an auction. To find out how many people are currently bidding on an auction, wait until the ticker reaches the 1 second mark. You’re wasting your time if there’s 4 or 5 people waiting to bid during that last second. Once the bidding war is down to two people, jump in.

Bidbuddy Bids: If there’s 2 or 3 people going at it with Bidbuddy, you should let them burn their bids out. Don’t jump in there with a bid because the room is still hot. It’s likely they’ll just outbid you with an automatic bid.

Alternatives to DealDash

Some other Penny Auction sites similar to DealDash include the following:
Beezid shut down in September 2016 after many complaints. These include chargebacks and items not being shipped.

Happy BidDay has been in business since 2010. It’s a mid-sized penny auction site that offers different types of auctions for both new and established users. Established users are given more competitive auctions for higher end products.

OrangeBidz is a fairly small penny auction site that is pretty basic with just three main auction features. Beginner auctions, Bid Free auctions and Special Events which are auctions where you can earn extra perks and prizes. Bids start at 75 cents each.

LazyBids is one of the most popular and well-known penny auction sites on the internet. LazyBids offers time reserve auctions, in which there are limits on the number of participants in a specific time range. They also provide a bid-back guarantee that save you some money should you not win a product you’re bidding on. Each bid costs 60 cents.

WellBid is international and allows users to bid in their native language and their native currency. The site is based in Cyprus and offers a range of goods from household appliances, toys, phones, and health and beauty times. You can chose a bid pack of 200 to 10,000 bids, starting at $6.50

DealDash Overview

While DealDash is not engaging in fraud, I find penny auction websites to be somewhat of a scam considering the amount of money they rake in. However I found DealDash to be pretty transparent compared to other online Penny auctions. They provide plenty of tutorials for those getting started. Plus they have great customer service. Make sure to read the tips I’ve provided above to maximize your wins. The best advice I can provide however is to only bid on the cheaper item when you first start.

What is Offervault and can it make you Money?

What is Offervault and is it a scam?

In this post I explain whether you can trust Offervault.com, how it can make you money, the pros and cons of Offervault.com and how you go about using their service. I also provide some helpful tips on how offervault.com can be used effectively and provide another alternative.

Can Offervault.com make you Money

Yes and No. That really depends on you. Offervault is not a scam and it doesn’t so much make you money as help you find affiliate programs that can make you money. It is effectively a research tool to search and locate affiliate and CPA (Cost per Acquisition) programs.

Basically businesses advertise their affiliate programs and CPA programs on affiliate networks and OfferVault lists them all in one place providing a Goto Source for Affiliate Marketers.

Offervault allows you to sort through 70,000+ CPA (Cost per acquisition) or Cost Per Action offers which would otherwise take days. Offervault.com is like a directory of all the offers on all the affiliate networks which you can sort through based on Name, Payout, Category, Network and Type.

An affiliate network is effectively a middle man between you and the affiliate. They provide the Accounting, Tracking, Reports, Refunds etc. Offervault provides all the offers that these affiliate networks provide.

Offervault allows you to refine your search further by selecting mobile offers, Pay per Call Promotions, the Latest Opportunities and Featured Offers. You also have the option to specify the country and identify trends in the marketplace.

How Does Offervault Work?

You do not have to sign up to Offervault.com but this will allow you to gain access to extra features provided by the site such as saving searches, viewing landing pages for international countries and setting up email alerts.

You Enter a search term below to find and compare offers. So, for example if you owned a fitness website you may want to promote workout apps for mobiles. You would type “workout app” into the search box and then select the Mobile tab to find all the offers promoted by various affiliate networks that relate to that niche.

Offervault search

These results will be presented in 6 columns.

Offer Name – This will be the title of the product offered

Pay-out – The amount you receive for each Sale or Lead.

Type – How you get paid, whether it’s from each Lead, Cost Per Action(CPA), Cost Per Sale(CPS), or cost per click(CPC).

Category – The category(s) that the offer falls into.

Network – A clickable link that will take you to the network providing the offer that you can sign up to.

Updated – This is the last time the offer was updated.

You click the magnifying glass option to the left of each listing for a detailed description of the offer and the benefits it provides.

Extra options are provided in the tags above the search listings. These include Mobile, Pay Per Call, Traffic, New, Featured, Networks and Jobs.

Once you’ve found an offer you like you would then click on the network link and sign up for the offer from that affiliate network.

Offervault.com helps you find offers within those networks and lists them in such a way that you can sort through them.

The Positives

  • It’s free to sign up and you don’t even have to sign up to see your search results.
  • There are free tutorials and resources including a Blog to help you become a more successful affiliate marketer.
  • Quick and easy to use with almost instant results saving you hundreds of hours.
  • Vast database with over 70,000+ CPA offers currently listed.
  • Many different types of offers such as lead generation, Cost Per Action(CPA), Cost Per Sale(CPS), or Cost per Click(CPC).
  • Advanced search features and the ability to refine your search
  • Get ideas from others by watching the scrolling marquee near the top and the list of the top 10 trending searches
  • Save your favourite searches allowing you to access them at anytime
  • You can advertise your own business on their site.

The Negative

  • Unfortunately, you can’t join your favourite affiliate networks through Offervault. You must click through to the affiliate network itself and sign up there.
  • You need approval from each affiliate network and cannot be granted approval via Offervault
  • You can end up getting refused when trying to join a particuarly affiliate network for a number of reasons such as you live in the wrong country, etc
  • Some features of the site can only be accessed if you sign up for free

Tips to Succeed with Offervault.com

  • Keyword Research Understand that most keywords nowadays are very hard to rank for and that you’re better off targeting longer more obscure key phrases related to the product/service. There are plenty of tools online that tell you how competitive a key phrase is. Generally speaking the more competitive a key phrase is, the harder or more expensive it is to rank for.
  • Target Low Competition KeywordsIt’s very difficult to earn money as an affiliate marketer if targeting high competition key phrases. Always carry out keyword research before signing up or target keywords your site already ranks for.
  • Use AnalyticsIf you own a website check out your analytics as they will usually tell you what keywords and pages you already rank for. You can then target affiliate offers that include keywords you already rank for. You could then update the content of the page to reflect the affiliate offer you’re selling.
  • Scrolling MarqueeCheck out the scrolling marquee near the top of the screen as it will give you some great ideas.
  • Sign up You should sign up to offervault as it is free and gives you access to more tools and features.

Offervault.com Alternatives

A similar alternative to Offervault.com is oDigger.com which provides 272,580 Affiliate offers at the current time, and 670 affiliate networks. It has a similar layout to Offervault and also a blog and forum.

Summary of Offervault

Offervault can make the task of comparing different affiliate offers much quicker and easier. It also enables you to refine your search to specific criteria. While Offervault offers less affiliate offers than oDigger, it does provide free webinars to help you become a better online marketer.

Offervault is a great place to start if you need to compare different affiliate offers that offer the best commission. However, you should limit yourself to only those offers you know you can rank for and use the scrolling marquee to get some ideas.

Is Superpayme A Scam?

Is Superpayme a Scam?

No Superpay me is not a scam and they do pay people who complete the surveys. Also Superpay has plenty of positive reviews from non-affiliate sites like TrustPilot.

This review will explain what Superpay is, how you get paid, the pros and cons of Superpay and tips when joining.

Superpay.me is basically a ‘Get Paid to’ site that will pay you to carry out online surveys and provide your opinion. Some of their payment methods include Paypal, Payza, Skrill (Moneybookers) and Amazon Gift Cards. They are like other PTC sites that pay you to answer surveys, click on ads or provide your opinion.

While you won’t earn a lot of money via Superpay if you haven’t referred many people it’s still a great way of earning some extra cash quickly.

According to TrustPilot, Superpay has a rating of 4 out of 5 based on 525 reviews at this current time. Here are the reviews

Here are some of the things people said about Superpay:

They are easy to work with and payout is almost immediate
Great way to earn a few extra bucks. Some of the surveys are way too long for the few cents they offer to pay. But like I said a few extra dollars is a few extra dollars.
Superpay.me is the best. Not only do they offer a great variety of ways to earn money, they let you have your money everyday by only having to make $1.00 which is very easy to do. On top of that, if you have problems or just a question, they communicate with back to you within a day. I love Superpay.me.

I’ve been on Superpayme for I think about two months now and love it. It’s legit, the layout of the site is simple and easy to understand, the people in chat are friendly. I don’t want to sound like an advertisement lol but I’ve tried many other Survey/task sites and this one IS the best in my opinion. Cashout is just a dollar and you can cash out daily right to your PayPal (other options available)) and I get my money fast. I’ve made over 150 dollars from just hopping on when I can in two months. It’s a great site.

They had a few negative reviews on TrustPilot which mainly relate to technical errors or claims that Superpay accused them of cheating. This can happen for a variety of reasons which I mention below.

I noticed that Superpay.me replied to these negative reviews on TrustPilot. This shows they are serious when it comes to customer service, even replying to problems that people state on a different site.

Here are the pros and cons of Superpay from my own experience and from various reviews that I have read online.

Pros of Superpay

Free to Join – It’s free to sign up and doesn’t cost anything to join.

Customer Service – They always reply to problems in a timely manner. Superpay provide great customer service.

Get Paid Instantly – Just sign up for free, complete some surveys and you will get paid instantly. Your first payment will be manual, but once you’re verified you can use the Instant Paypal option and get paid unlimited times per day and immediately.

Low Minimum Withdrawal – Even if you’ve only accumulated a balance of $1.00 you can still withdraw. However, if you withdraw from PayPal do realize there’s a small transaction fee so it can be best to wait until your earnings are higher.

Easy way of Earning some Extra Cash – With Superpay it’s easy to earn money as it doesn’t require any skills or qualifications.

Unlimited Referrals – You can refer as many people as you like to Superpay and you get paid 25% of what they earn. Let’s say you refer 20 people to Superpay and they each on average earn $5 a day. That’s $25 you earn a day for doing nothing.

Flexible – You can earn money in a number of different ways such as completing surveys, offers, viewing PTC banner ads, participating in contests, Crowdlower tasks and even watching videos.

International – You can participate in any country around the world and earn money. However some countries will provide higher paying surveys than others.

Cons of Superpay

Payment – Some companies prefer to pay with credits rather than cash. I would prefer the money in cash rather than having to spend the money at stores like Amazon.

Verification – Eventually you will need to verify your identity and current address. This is to help prevent fraud and to maintain the integrity of the site and it’s members. This information is then deleted by Superpay once verified.

Viable Surveys – According to reviews there are plenty of viable surveys. However sometimes you can answer a lot of questions in a survey only for them to decide you’re not right for a survey. This can be a waste of time.

Earnings are Low – Earnings are pretty low and you should probably earn only about £5.00 on average unless you recruit more people and earn commission from those you refer – in which case you can earn a lot more. (25% of their earnings).

International offers are lacking – While Superpay is international that doesn’t mean all offers are the same or equally available. Most offers are available for residents of English speaking nations or some western European nations like Italy or Spain. Some countries offer less offers or no offers at all.

Tips on Using Superpay

Do’s and Don’ts

Negative reviews of Superpay.me complain that they don’t get paid or their account gets locked. However, I’ve discovered there are some legitimate reasons for this. Here are some Dos and Don’ts:

Don’t use a foreign IP Address – This is a no-no and is a violation of their rules. You should not use a proxy server, VPN, shared IP address or even a public internet connection as this can get your account banned. Some use a foreign server to make it appear that you live in another country in the hope of obtaining better surveys and higher pay. You must be honest about where you’re from so that businesses can geo-target you.

Do Use your current address and legit ID – You will eventually have to verify your identity. This is to maintain the integrity of the site and to ensure against cheating and fraud.

Do not use Automation Software – Some may try and use software to automate the process of answering surveys. Do not do this! It will get you banned. They have ways of detecting this. Just answer the surveys honestly and you will get faster over time.

Don’t Complete the same offer more than once – Don’t complete the same offer more than once as this is considered fraud and can lead to account termination

Don’t use the Opera Web Browser – For some reason the Opera web browser does not work and you can mistakenly be labelled a cheater

Do Keep your Account Active – In order to keep your account active, you need to login in at least once every 90 days.

Other reasons for denying a Superpay account can involve:
• Using Multiple Accounts
• Failing their telephone Verification process
• Changing your Internet ISP connection from one country to another
• Using a mobile or satellite internet connection
• Using an anonymous IP address

Tips While Working

Here are some tips while working on Superpay or after completing a job:
• You should clear your browser cookies after you’ve been credited to ensure you get paid. It can be best to use free software to do this such as CCleaner.

• You should leave the completed page open for a few minutes to ensure you’re credited for the job you complete.

• Follow Superpay me on Twitter and Facebook to get promo codes and receive points

• Weekdays are better than weekends for finding job offers

• If you run into difficulties always ask members or moderators questions via the Shoutbox chat platform or the Contact Us page. They are very helpful and quick to respond

Tasks from Superpay.me include

• Completing offers
• Super Rewards
• Radium One
• Offer Toro, Persona.ly
• Adscend Media
• Token Ads

Alternatives to SuperPay

There are many ‘Get Paid to’ sites out there like Superpay and not all of them are survey sites. Some of them are better than others. Here’s a list of most of them:

• Clixsense
• Surveysavvy
• Squishycash
• Cashcrate
• Dollarsignup
• Dealspotr
• PrizeRebal
• GetPaidTo
• Neobux
• TreasureTroppers
• Meprizes
• Swagbucks
• Buxp
• Zoombuck
• Sendearnings
• Offers2Cash
• instaGC
• Swagbucks

Conclusion

Superpay is great for people who need to supplement their income but isn’t recommended as a supplementary form of income. Cetainly not a substitute for a regular job.

Unless you have many referrals, you shouldn’t expect to earn more than a few dollars a day. However their affiliate program is pretty good, offering 25% of the earnings from those you refer.

The customer service is good and they are quick to respond to problems, just make sure you follow their rules and you won’t have to worry about having your account suspended.

Is Arbonne a Cult and/or a Scam?

Is Arbonne a Cult or a Scam I should Avoid?

Arbonne is a real company that sells Botanic health and beauty-related products founded in 1975 by Petter Mørck in Switzerland. They have over 1 million members and have been around for a few decades now.

Arbonne is not so much a work from home opportunity but a Network Marketing business. Arbonne make their money by recruiting new members to their business while selling through their downline. Their products include health and beauty products, weight loss, aromatherapy and make-up products.

Is Arbonne a Cult

Arbonne is sometimes accused of being a cult. Some Arbonne members are very enthusiastic and passionate about Arbonne, promoting it at every opportunity. These members will tend to be the most successful because they’re better at persuading others to join and they have themselves benefited greatly from Arbonne. Their claims that Arbonne has magically transformed their lives, complete with photos of a lavish lifestyle and trips to motivational sessions in Vegas make it appear cultish to some.

However, this is just motivational marketing and hype. I have seen no evidence that Arbonne is a cult.

Payments and Cost

Like many Network Marketing companies, they need to make a profit while providing commission to their resellers. This means their products are more expensive than if you just purchased them straight from a manufacturer.

The truth is that if you want health or beauty products you’re better off just purchasing them from eBay or Amazon then through a Network, as you can purchase Arbonne Products for a 20% discount.

The internet makes it more difficult nowadays for Network Marketing companites to sell their goods through a network, as you can usually find them cheaper online. Plus, there are some obstacles to overcome if you become a member/consultant of Arbonne.

• Registration Fee — To become a consultant of Arbonne you need to pay a registration fee of $79 and after 12 months you will have to pay a $30 annual renewal fee.

• Minimum Earnings — In order to earn commissions, consultants must earn a minimum of 150 PQV each month.

• Consultant Status — You must accumulate a minimum of 1200 PQV within a 12-month period to keep your status as a consultant.

The Positive Aspects of Arbonne

Extensive Range. There is a large range of products and they sell a lot of products that a large percentage of people use. These include:

• Nutrition products
• Perfume & Fragrance products
• Make-up products
• Skin care products
• Hair & body products

Arbonne Products

Inventory — Thankfully you do not have to keep an inventory if you’re a consultant.

Commission — The commission is fairly good and is 35% commission for clients and 15% on preferred clients who have a 20% discount. Plus, you make commission on the people under you which can add up to a lot if you have a large downline.

Time — You can work your own hours and not someone else’s. However, this means you have to be disciplined as you’re working for yourself.

Return Policy — One of the good things about Arbonne is that they do have a good returns policy. If you don’t like the products you can return them within 45 days. If you’ve participated in the business opportunity you can return the products to Arbonne within a year. The problem is that the samples you’re using to bring people in and the products you’re testing just to find out if they work for you and so forth are non-returnable after the 45 days that they give you initially.

Product Purchases — You get a 35% discount on all product purchases if you’re a consultant and keep profits made on all retail sales.

The Negative Aspects of Arbonne

High Minimum Requirements

In order to earn commissions, consultants must earn a minimum of 150 PQV each month and you must accumulate a minimum of 1200 PQV within a 12-month period, to keep your status as a consultant. If you don’t earn a minimum amount through your downline you may have to end up paying for products in order to maintain your PQV.

Being a Salesperson

I don’t know about you but I hate becoming a salesperson to friends or family and putting pressure on them to buy products or join Arbonne. I just hate being that pushy person. It can be hard making money with Arbonne if you don’t have that outgoing extroverted personality that a salesperson requires.

When you run out of friends and family to prospect you may have to engage in cold sales, which effectively involves recruiting random people you don’t know and trying to convince them to join Arbonne. This can be more difficult as there’s no trust or relationship to begin with when trying to persuade someone you don’t know.

For people who are highly passionate and outgoing you can do well with Arbonne so long as you come across as sincere and advertise at the right time. There are techniques to marketing and it’s wise to learn what they are before you pitch to anyone.

Arbonne does have training available to members and a program called Arbonne University. It’s a website that provides extensive training for new members.

Time and Effort

It takes time to build your downline, so don’t expect to earn much money in the first few months. Like many Network Marketing Businesses, the money comes as a result of a lot of hard work. You may need to put in a lot of time and effort in at the beginning to get the results at the end. Only then can you become less active in the business.

While you can become less active once you’ve built a downline, you will still need to have active consultants. This can involve a lot of work and follow up to make sure they remain active consultants, otherwise they can fall away leading to a shrinking downline and less revenue.

Average Revenue

The average revenue annually that their active independent consultants earn is relatively low. Only 13% of the US Arbonne consultants are bringing in regular checks and of that 13%, 90% are making $3,391 per year on average.

How Successful is Arbonne

Arbonne has been around for over 36 years so their longevity does indicate a successful company. However, the company did go bankrupt in 2009 but they seem to have improved their business practices since then.

Arbonne is one of many multi-level marketing companies that sell health and beauty products and like many beauty Network Marketing companies the average earnings are pretty low. Some network marketing businesses lack decent in-depth training on how to get new leads and sales. However, Arbonne does have a sales training program called Arbonne University. This is a website which provides training for new recruits.

Here are a few figures:
• Arbonne had an average of 182,500 independent consultants during 2015.
• Of the 182,500 consultants, only 23,800 (13%) received any earnings from the company during the year. These are considered active consultants.
• The remaining 158,700 did not earn a single dime.
• Most active consultants earn on average less than $300 per month.

Arbonne Payment Structure

There are four levels to Arbonne – District, Area, Region and Nation. Each provides a different percentage:

District – 8% Over Ride
Area – Additional 6% Over Ride
Region – Additional 3% Over Ride Plus Get the “White Mercedes Benz” or a $800 car allotment towards the WMB
Nation – Additional 1% Over Ride and $1000 allotment to WMB, No Salary Cap Ever

There are two major ways of earning money through Arbonne. One way is through commissions. These are direct sales you make to your customers. The second way of earning money is through Over Rides.

This is when you make an additional percentage from your personal purchase, or anyone that purchases products from you or anyone on your team. This can in turn vary depending on what level you are on – District, Area, Region or Nation.

Over Rides provide a significant amount of your income should you have a large downline. For a more detailed explanation of their pricing visit click here

Is Arbonne a Scam

I do not believe Arbonne is a scam but I do believe that unless you’re highly motivated, enthusiastic person with good marketing skills, you will find it hard to earn a decent income with Arbonne. Since most who join Arbonne make very little, most people will drop out of Arbonne.

While I do not believe Arbonne is a scam for a different perspective check out the following YouTube video by Ethan Vanderbuilt:

Things to Consider

Your Downline

Like any multi-level marketing business your earnings are largely dependent on your downline and growing your downline can be particularly difficult, particularly when you’re not given much in-depth training, and when products purchased via Arbonne are significantly more expensive than similar products you can buy elsewhere. In order to make money from your downline, you need your downline to be able to sell them in the first place.

Maintaining your Downline

In order to earn a sustainable income, it’s the bottom rank that really matters, as this line is the most vulnerable. This is because those who are earning the least are less likely to stay active in the program, which then effects the rank higher up. Getting some of your friends and family to join Arbonne is one thing. However, maintaining your downline may be more difficult if you do not know them.

Recruiting New People

Recruiting new people can be difficult, particularly when you’ve already exhausted your friends and family. You need to find regular leads and this can be difficult when there aren’t many positive reviews about Arbonne online and the company went bankrupt in 2009. Plus, your new recruits are themselves going to have to find people to recruit when they start or they will have to pay money to remain a consultant.

Conclusion

If you don’t mind putting the time and effort in at least at the beginning and you have good marketing skills you should consider giving Arbonne a go.

While I do not believe Arbonne is a scam, I do believe it takes high motivation, enthusiasm and good marketing skills to succeed with Arbonne. Since Arbonne have still not saturated the market as much as Avon and Arbonne is less well known outside of the US, you still have a chance to do well and earn a great income.
